One of the side effects of the Taxol (only 3 treatments to go) is Peripheral Neuropathy (nerve damage) and I have it, this started for me on Sunday..(Stayed in bed ALL DAY that was the night of the full moon hmmmmmmmmm) anyway, I did notice somethings last week, dropping things, tingling, burning in my hands and feet that will not go away, weakness ect. I have been taking my B-Complex everyday like a good girl :) That does help with energy as well as protection for the nerves (no not the kind that people get on, I need help in that department, if ya know of a good remedy for this besides a baseball bat, please let me know)..
So, my oncologist said he is going to reduce the Taxol amount so this does not become permanent, these next few weeks are going to be very trying, hence the clicks each day will be that click closer to the top where I can scream by bloody head off that I am FREE, FREE from the Taxol for good..
The effects should reverse themselves may take awhile so that is good..I go back in see him in 2 weeks if it gets worse he will do what he needs to do..My blogs will be alot crazier as this goes on, cause is my escape to be able to cope with all this crap..This is my way..I don't know anything else..
